Why I Advocate for Hormone-Safe Living

This is bigger than products.

It's a movement for healthier homes, informed women, and a new kind of opportunity for women ready for more.

I didn’t start here...

For more than 20 years, I owned and operated a salon and spa, working closely with women every single day.

That space taught me so much about women.

Not just about skincare, beauty, or self-care — but about the conversations that happen when women finally feel safe enough to talk honestly.

Women talked about their exhaustion.
Their stress.
Their changing bodies.
Their hormones.
Their confidence.

And I cared deeply about helping them feel better — inside and out.

At the same time, I was on my own personal health journey, trying to understand how to take better care of my body and feel stronger, healthier, and more energized.

That curiosity eventually led me into the wellness industry and the world of network marketing — a space that would ultimately change the trajectory of my life.

Over the last 11 years, this industry has given me opportunities I never imagined were possible.

I’ve had the privilege of mentoring thousands of women.

I’ve built an organization that has generated millions of dollars in revenue. I became a Million Dollar Earner.

And today I lead the largest Canadian team in my company, alongside some of the most incredible women I’ve ever met.

But if I’m being honest…the success was never the part that mattered most.

The women did.

Watching women gain confidence they didn’t know they had.

Watching women create income that changed their families.

Watching women realize they were capable of building something meaningful for themselves.

That is what has kept me in this work for more than a decade.

But something started to shift for me.

The deeper I got into the wellness world, the more curious I became.

I started studying hormone health, nutrition, and what was actually happening in women’s bodies as we moved through our late 30s, 40s, and beyond.

And suddenly so many of the conversations I had heard for years in my salon chair started making sense.

Women weren’t just “tired.” They were dealing with hormonal shifts. They weren’t just struggling with stubborn weight. Their bodies were navigating stress, blood sugar changes, inflammation, and hormone imbalance.

Women were trying so hard to take care of themselves — exercising, eating better, buying what they believed were healthy products.

But the deeper I looked, the more I realized something surprising.

Many of the products people were using every single day — skincare, supplements, personal care products, and even things in our homes — contained ingredients that could disrupt our hormones.

Ingredients most women had never heard of.

Endocrine disrupting chemicals.
Hidden fragrance compounds.
Heavy metals in supplements.

And suddenly the idea of “wellness” started to look very different. Women were trying so hard to be healthy…but the system around them wasn’t making it easy.

That realization changed the direction of my work.

I knew I wanted to be part of something that didn’t just talk about wellness.

I wanted to advocate for something that actually supported women’s bodies.

Something that aligned with everything I believed about:

• hormone health
• longevity
• toxin-conscious living
• empowering women with real information about what they’re putting in, on, and around their bodies

That search eventually led me to Hugh & Grace.

And when I learned about the standards behind the products — the commitment to removing endocrine-disrupting chemicals and supporting hormone health — I knew this was something different.

This wasn’t just another wellness company.

This was a mission I could stand behind.

Today the mission is bigger than products.

Today I lead the largest Canadian team in the company, made up of women who care deeply about health, education, and creating healthier homes.

Women who want more.

More freedom.
More purpose.
More impact.

Women who want to feel empowered in their health and help other women do the same.

Women who believe that when we educate ourselves and advocate for better products, we can create real change.

Not just in our own homes.

But in thousands of homes across the country.

This work isn’t just about products.

It’s about helping women understand their bodies.

It’s about helping women feel strong again.

It’s about helping women build confidence, community, and income doing work that actually matters.

For some women, this simply means learning how to create a healthier home.

For others, it becomes something much bigger.

It becomes an opportunity to advocate, educate, and build something meaningful alongside other women who care about this mission.

The women who find their way to this mission

The women who are drawn to this work usually have something in common.

They care deeply.

About their health.
About their families.
About creating a better life than the one they were told was possible.

They’re often women who have spent years putting everyone else first. Women who are starting to realize they want something more.

More energy.
More freedom.
More purpose in how they spend their time.

Some of them are already passionate about wellness.

Some of them are just beginning to question the products they use every day.

Some of them simply feel a pull toward work that actually helps people.

And many of them are women who want to build something of their own, without sacrificing their health, their families, or their values.

This community is made up of women who are curious, driven, and open to growing into a bigger version of themselves.

Women who are ready to learn.

Women who are ready to lead.

Women who are ready to help other women feel stronger, healthier, and more informed.

What building this work can look like

For some women, this mission simply starts with learning.

Learning about hormone health. Learning how to reduce toxin exposure in their homes. Learning how to support their bodies as they move through midlife.

For others, it becomes something more.

It becomes a way to:

• educate and empower other women
• create an additional income stream
• build a business rooted in purpose
• connect with a community of driven, supportive women
• create flexibility and freedom in their lives

There is no single path here.

Some women simply advocate and share. Others build thriving businesses.

What matters most is that the work is grounded in something real, helping women feel better in their bodies and more confident in their lives.
