What to have for breakfast?

Quick, what did you have for breakfast today??

hmmmm…..Do you have breakfast??

To be honest I never used to either, I thought I should save up calories for later, when I could do some “GOOD” eating!! NOT A GOOD PLAN!
The only thing that did, was have me buying bigger pants!

Once I figured out that I NEEDED that meal for energy, to keep me functioning and not CRAVING junkie foods, I was so much better off!! There are SO many amazing things you can have for breakfast….some so fast you can be fuelling yourself in a matter of 2 mins!

For my busy working ladies —- you NEED to get some of my Super Foods Shake —-SERIOUSLY that was how I first started getting a GOOD healthy, and let me tell you DELICIOUS breakfast into me! When you have something to look forward too…aka…CHOCOLATE Shake…you won’t want to miss it! Once you start feeling better, have more energy…that mid morning CRASH where you WANT to go to the vending machine doesn’t happen…you will LOVE YOUR NEW ROUTINE!!

Once I got into the routine of breakfast I discovered that I loved the feeling of being nourished in the morning so I started to experiment with what to have! I did Yogurt with berries and some granola, my WONDER WHIPS were a staple ALL summer long, lets just say REESES PEANUT BUTTER CUP(have you got that recipe yet..check out my past BLOG here for it), and I discovered my LOVE for OATMEAL!!

I crave them, I love them…but I really had to learn how to make them OK for my body!! I have learned over the years that just because it is HEALTHY doesn’t mean it is going to be good for YOU!!! Big caution about trying ONE SIZE FITS ALL meal plans….hello ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL!

Once I figured out the portion of oats my body could tolerate, and that I needed to incorporate protein in with them…I was OFF TO THE RACES!! My go to recipe has been 1 blue container of DRY OATS, water and microwave until it’s done to your desired consistency. Then stir in 1tsp of Natural Peanut Butter, and cinnamon!! I would partner that with a couple EGGS for protein and lalalala — SO DELISH!!

I don’t know what happened to me this week, but I have been a little DARING with my OATS…needed a change I guess! So I went to my INSTAFEED for some INSPO and found some really interesting things…CUE “CAULI” OATS!!

YEP I said it, you know how I feel about #veggiesmost. If I can get veggies into me at every meal I know I am going to be healthier for it!!

DO NOT KNOCK THIS…it was SO YUMMY!! I have had it everyday this week!! And I have been SO satisfied…not craving anything all morning!

So far I have tried 2 different recipes and love them!!
